MALT a.k.a BrownBagDetroit was born not far from Detroit, Michigan in a city named Warren, in 1975. Malt has an investigative mind and a precise detail-oriented work style. This, combined with his unique interpretation of form and function and an innate passion for art, soon led him to a new art vehicle. Malt’s canvas paintings unleash drama, controversy and beauty. As a young artist making his way from the street into the gallery, his work has been described as bold, outlandish and stimulating.
